Barrier Renewal Cream is a lightweight, reparative cream that is good for all skin types, including acneic and barrier impaired skin. It is an unscented and non-greasy formula for dry, sensitive or irritated skin. Skin is renewed and repaired through daily use.
Moisturizing Mist
Moisturizing Mist is a light, hydrating spray with our patented stem cell released molecules that calms and soothes the skin on contact. Use throughout the day as needed to refresh the skin.
Skin Serum
Skin Serum is a daily healthy beauty skin serum that reduces all visible signs of aging and hydrates the skin. It contains our patented adult stem cell released molecules for smoother, softer, and younger looking skin.
Laser Protocols
Pre-Laser
If you and your skin therapist determine that a laser treatment is the correct choice for your skin to lessen the appearance of damaged or ageing skin, it is important to prepare the skin in advance of the treatment. If possible, begin a skin health regimen four weeks before a laser treatment to ensure the best possible outcome while minimizing any negative side effects. This preparation will speed healing time as it reduces or eliminates inflammation in the area treated, returning the skin to a state of health.
NeoGenesis recommends the use of Recovery, our most powerful treatment serum abundant in S²RM®, once or twice daily after cleansing for four weeks prior to a laser. After cleansing with the NeoGenesis Cleanser, apply Recovery all over the face and neck, including the eye area and around and on the lips. Recovery may be very helpful if you are prone to Herpes Simplex outbreaks. For the more dry skin types, application of Skin Serum after Recovery, followed by our Intensive Moisturizer or Barrier Renewal Cream, will keep the skin hydrated and the barrier improved for proper skin function. This protocol will naturally heal and nourish the skin in preparation of the laser treatment.
Pre-laser protocol; twice daily
- Gently cleanse the skin with NeoGenesis Cleanser
- Apply 4 to 6 drops of NeoGenesis Recovery to the face and neck, including the eye area
- Apply NeoGenesis Intensive Moisturizer or Barrier Renewal Cream
- Always wear a chemical free sunscreen during the day
Post-Laser
Your skin will need two weeks to heal following a laser treatment. During this time, handle the skin gently with the following home plan.
Laser procedures results will be enhanced from the post treatment application of NeoGenesis Recovery. If the recommended pre-laser protocol has been used, continue throughout the healing process. If beginning NeoGenesis products post-laser, Recovery, used twice daily after cleansing the skin with our Cleanser, will reduce redness and irritation, enhance the effects of the procedure, and reduce the downtime. To combat the initial dryness associated with a laser treatment, apply Skin Serum following Recovery twice daily. Follow the serums with our Intensive Moisturizer or Barrier Renewal Cream, applied twice daily or as needed to hydrate the skin and provide proper barrier function. The Moisturizing Mist may be used throughout the day on the treated area, anytime the skin feels irritated and tight. The use of chemical free sunscreen is extremely important to further protect the skin.
Post-laser protocol; twice daily
- Gently cleanse the skin with NeoGenesis Cleanser
- Mist with NeoGenesis Moisturizing Mist
- Apply 4 to 6 drops of NeoGenesis Recovery serum to the face and neck, including the eye area
- May apply NeoGenesis Booster or Skin Serum if skin is particularly dry
- Apply NeoGenesis Intensive Moisturizer or Barrier Renewal Cream
- Always wear a chemical free sunscreen during the day
- Spritz Moisturizing Mist throughout the day, as needed for soothing relief
After the 14-day healing phase has passed, you may continue with this protocol or go to a maintenance program of Recovery once per day or 3 to 4 times per week. Booster or Skin Serum may be used with Recovery, or alternate daily use, followed by Light Moisturizer, Intensive Moisturizer or Barrier Renewal Cream, twice daily.
